Universal Orlando in 2027: events to plan around and where to stay

Universal Orlando Resort keeps growing, and 2027 is shaping up to be a big year. If you are thinking about a trip, it pays to plan around the events calendar — some weeks are far busier (and more fun) than others.

On the events side, Rock the Universe is expected back in January 2027, bringing Christian music's biggest acts to the parks. Spring usually means Mardi Gras with its parade and concerts, summer brings the crowds and the late nights, and Halloween Horror Nights is expected to run from the end of August through November 2027. Exact dates are announced by Universal closer to each season, so treat these as expected windows for now.

Where you stay matters just as much.
